We Are Back !!!!

Well here are some pictures from the storm, we got our electricity back last night, but the internet did not work until about 1 hour ago here are some pictures of the boys, who were going to stay up, Jared woke up when the winds were shifting, Jason slept right threw the whole thing ( which was really hard).
It was really scary for awhile there i thought we were going to lose our windows. but we were VERY lucky we lost our shed, some shengels and we had some minor water damage. also our phones must have got some kind of power surge because they are not working. and my front door cracked at the bottom. i have been scared to open the big freezer, but the little one spoiled quite a few things, it smelt like rotten chicken. James and i went out at about 2:30 and the winds were blowing really hard, we still had electricity at this point, so i said lets turn on the TV to see where the storm is at and as soon as the words were out of my mouth the lights went out.James thinks we were at the eye wall because the storm never let up, it just changed directions. and the second half of the storm was a lot worse then the 1st.

we were very lucky, my brother Hector still knows nothing about his house, the last we heard he was 4 ft under water, but the whole city of Baytown has been condemned, so at this point no one knows anything. no one is allowed in.
as for Rene the top part of his house is gone and the roof over the bakery has collapsed. he called last night to let me know he now has electricity, but no roof. he said the destruction in Denver Harbor is really bad a lot of collapse homes and some are just gone.
so all in all we are very very lucky. we are all still alive and together . i will post more later today or tomorrow. once again thank you to all of you that called to check up on us and prayed for us threw all of this.
