i have had a couple of calls and emails for the recipe i one blog request so here it goes... oh wait the boys next time want me to use sprite i will let you know how that turns out

1 box (18.25) hill country fare yellow cake mix

1 can ( 12 oz) HEB Root Beer

1/2 cup Canola oil

3 tablespoons root beer soda

heat oven to 350 grease and flour 10inch bundt pan, set aside
combine, cake mix can of root beer ( i set aside the 3 tablespoons from here) oil and eggs. mix to pkg. directions. pour into pan and bake for 35-40 min. until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
cool cake for 15 min before inverting on wire rack to cool.
when cool poke holes every 2 inches with bamboo or metal skewer
combine powder sugar and root beer you had set aside earlier in a small bowl beat with fork until smooth ( for Halloween i added orange food color and at Christmas i added green it looks pretty) pour the root beer glaze over the cake.
