Happy New Year

Gosh it is hard to believe we are already 10 days into the New Year. hope everyone had a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
Jimmy was home for about a week until the 30th and it was great to have him here, he did well in school again this semester, 2 A's & 2C's. he withdrew from 1 class because he claims he could not understand the teacher. he did have a full load with all the classes hard. and that boy did the same this coming semester. and he is once again taking 5 classes. some times i have to wonder about that boy...just 1 junk class would make me happy, but he seems to be in such a hurry to grow up, even wants to go to school during the summer.
Jason was really sick the last week of school he was running a pretty high fever, for about 3-4 days off and on. i took him to school on Friday so he could take the test he need to take( report cards were coming out the 1st Friday back to school.) we were going to stay for the party for a bit but after about 10 minutes he was ready to come home. anyway he was fine for about 3 days and then his cheek blew up on Christmas Day it was a little but the next day it was bad, no i did not take any pictures to worried about him to even think about it, anyway we took him to the Dr. and he had a bacterial infection, something like the mumps the Dr. said, it had a REALLY long name. He is fine now thank goodness.
i made some really cute coasters for the teachers and my lunch buddies, i was really surprised how easy it was and they came out nice. Jared insisted he make Mrs. Spangels. but they were really cute.
Santa brought the boys a Wii game and they were really excited about that. we went to my in-laws as we always do and James had them bring their game and so everyone adults & children played. The boys were excited because Santa brought them everything they asked for (i am sure it helped that all they wanted was the Wii)it was really kind of cute.
The boys and i went to Gonzales to visit my parents, you know during the holidays i miss them so very much. and of course we had sausage and it was good as always. we stopped in Shiner and picked up a few fire works for NY nothing big, just some sparklers and a few things that really did not even get off the ground.
for New Years we stayed home, Jason was still not feeling good so it was just a good idea. Sara and her parents brought in the New Year with us. it was really a very nice and quite NY.
well i guess that is enough for catch up i need to finish my lay outs for a swap i am in so i will be back later i am sure.
Hope everyone has a wonderful year this year!!!!!
